MEDITATION WITH Thee~ Part 3

(MWT) MEDITATE WITH Thee

What time of the day or night?
When is the best time to meditate? Early morning! At dusk! Before bedtime!

At any time you feel a strong urge to connect to yourself.
It could be just when you wake up. It could be just before you go to sleep. Just whenever your mind or body or soul guides you to do it!

What if I feel asleep after Meditation?
Great enjoy the nap. Just make sure you aren’t driving.

Do I have to meditate every day at the same time?
You could, but it is not a daily episode of your favourite television series… It is MEDITATION it follows no timetable… it follows your will.

If I miss a few sessions I can never start again?

Many a times we would have joined a hobby class, attempting to learn Salsa or Cooking or playing the piano... we did a few sessions and then quit it midway and could never bring ourselves to start again.

This same attitude blocks us from starting to meditate.

We feel we would start on Monday enthusiastically, continue it on Tuesday and Wednesday happily, catch up on it on Thursday and Friday, and by the time Saturday knocks, we feel “It is fine... five days a week …like my cardiovascular regime.”
Come Monday again and we miss it, Tuesday we forget it, Wednesday we remember but avoid it, Thursday we promise we shall start on Monday again... but that Monday never comes...

Meditation has to be made a way of life not a fad. It is not a hobby class it’s an ingrained art we are gifted with, which we need to recognise and polish... it shall need perseverance dedication and motivation. Motivation, especially to begin! That’s where LOG OUT LOG IN helps for beginners who are just taking baby steps.

For the ones who have reached a deeper level of recognition and practice of meditation their mind is a book, blog, resource, teacher and a classroom in itself. They need to learn as they tap into the wonderful feeling of oneness. Oneness with the divine, with the universe. They can then choose to share their knowledge and define what meditation for them means.

For me, it is my connect with oneness; oneness with my higher self, with the universe, with that point of origin which is the core of all thought.

So if you happen to miss out a session; be gentle on yourself and restart... let it become as natural as breathing and as rhythmic as your heartbeat.
