Coffee with Karan S5 E1 review
Karan, wake up and smell your own coffee...please...!
It is getting cold, stale and dull!
It's time when gen next, the likes of Alia, Arjun, Ranveer and Shraddha would prefer a chai ka tappri and not hide their true selves behind layers of expensive velvet.
They are the ones who don't shy away from posting a pic just awake from sleep... they need no candyfloss...
If they are dating, they are dating! They don't consider it gossip any more...
So Karan what we want to see is the real Alia, the real Arjun, the real Shraddha that they are all the times...and they don't mind it...
As for SRK we have never known his true self...there is always a facade...and this comes from a true fan, Yours Humbly...!
It is that facade that came glaring in the first episode when SRK was oscillating between being a protective father to Alia and being the Charming Star SRK who the females love (proclaimed repeatedly by himself)...
The high point was when Karan praised SRK for FAN...how gratifying is that...
SRK tried competing like a newbie...he didn't have to... we your true fans love you for what you are...stop trying too hard... we love your brash witty charisma...don't try to ape who idolise you ...
Coz if you are trying to ape the new gen, know that they are what they are...
SRK has told Karan that Alia is too good too fast... To which Alia was surely a bit uneasy and had no qualms in hiding her response but the editing table did the job...
According to SRK she hasn't got Adaygi as yet... which put in simple words by himself later, was to overact...
SRK, you guys were lucky to get away with adaygi, coz we the consumers were fed with nothing else and were too blind to see beyond... (we, to some extent are the reason for downfall of your box office collections which you yourself confessed on the show) We pampered you then...
The gen next has very less time, a very competitive spirit and they know their craft well like Alia does and if they don't know it they learn fast like Ranveer did... So it's not too good too fast... its simply that they know they won't have so many chances like you'll did...
Karan I still would watch KWK for a few more episodes, maybe the brew gets better... as for the first one, it was a complete down slider...
And please why cant you accept a successful, talented actress Like Alia being single...
No fodder for TRP...
As for now I am "demotional" emotional but detached...???
